Introducing OYOY

Hello, hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to NYE! I've had a great break, but must say I'm glad to be back blogging again :-)

Today I want to share with you a new Danish store called OYOY. The recently-established store has a wonderful mix of Scandinavian and Japanese-inspired homewares and I think you are going to love it.

The company takes its name from the letters OY which are written on every Danish aeroplane. These letters are well-known in Denmark to signify Danish nationality, which is why it was chosen. OYOY's vision is to create fun, innovative products that focus on form, function and colour. This philosophy can be seen in all their products, which includes textiles, storage and accessories. Here are a few of my favourite pieces from the collection.
I love the mix of natural beech with bright colour - especially in the Tippetop Candleholders above. Another favourite is the Honeycomb Bedlinen, an item that I will be buying in the new year. I've only shown a small selection of what's available, so if this has tickled your fancy, head over to their on-line site. There's more cushions, tea towels, storage boxes, placemats, hooks and even a cute Christmas Elf... Happy Shopping!

Christmas Wish List No.13

I have been waiting for this bedding set to hit the UK Anthropologie for SO LONG and I am so excited that it has now landed on UK shores. It's called Sethunya and reminds me of Spring. Isn't it so pretty?
I also love this pink floral bedding set too.
Ah don't you just love Anthropologie?

ON LOCATION: Barcelona

With it being Valentines Day and my birthday last weekend I got to go to Barcelona for a good old city break. It must be said, the boyfriend is good to me! Whilst I was there I found Vinçon, a beautiful interiors shop specialising in quirky homewares with an industrial edge. The store is situated in Eixample, an area famed for its beautiful architecture, and this can certainly be seen from the outside.
Though on the more pricey side, especially on larger pieces of furniture, Vinçon has a great range of products from kitchenware, homeware, lighting, bedding, accessories and children's furniture as well as some novelty items. Here are some of the displays that caught my eye whilst wandering around.
Vinçon has only two stores, one in Barcelona and the other in Madrid.  Though the good news is that they ship to the UK. To see their full range head over to their website. Happy shopping!
