English Romantic

I've been a fan of independent homeware and textile store Chocolate Creative for over a year now and love the graphic prints and bright colours they sell. However, when I took a look at the new English Romantic collection I was completely blown away. The collection, though small - only cushions and door knobs at the minute - is truly stunning. The products feature serene and typically English scenes such as woodlands and lakes, but still retain a modern feel. Here are a few images of the new pieces, I hope you like them as much as I do.
One of these cushions would look great scattered amongst lots of plain ones on a sofa. From left the designs are: Blue Lake, Red Lake, Vintage Beach and Woodlands. I love the colours in the Blue Lake design, so pretty!

Now for the door knobs.
Don't they look great against a dark charcoal background? Thank you Chocolate Creative, what a stunning collection!

Christmas Wish List No.17

I've blogged before about how much I like Chocolate Creative, and these new door knobs just makes me like them even more!

Apologies for the grainy picture, but you get the idea of how great they look, especially as coat hooks. So original! Below are some close-ups:

Ah, aren't they just perfect? Close-up you can see the embroidery-like detailing on the flowers, which is just so pretty. The hooks measure 7cm (diameter) by 5.3cm (depth) and are £15 each with a choice of 5 designs. There are also some plain hooks available in pink, red and yellow if florals aren't your thing! See their fantastic on-line shop for more details and where to buy.

Chocolate Creative

Have you heard of Chocolate Creative? I've just discovered this handmade textile and homeware brand and thought I'd give it a shout out. Margarita Lorenzo is the designer behind this London based company. She started out in graphic design and has successfully merged this with her love of textiles. To find out more have a look at her blog, Chocolate Creative. Or take a look at her website where you can buy all these unique products.
The above cushions and prints are from the Decayed Glamour, Messages and Cameos collections, very prettily titled don't you think?

Margarita's silk screen printed designs can be found on cushions, framed prints, mugs, tea towels and tote bags. These prints below are great, and really good value at less than £20.
Something to spruce up your kitchen? Designer tea towel or mug maybe?
Chocolate Creative also do great a great kids collection, though I think it's too good just for kids! These cushions would sit perfectly on my RAR rocker.
What do you think? I think they're lovely, remember to take a look at Margarita's fabulous blog too for some inspirational ideas for your home.
